While it is important
to target companies or industries in which you have
your interests and experience, one should not overlook
the importance of having the abilities the employer
seeks so that you can be utilized as an immediate asset
to the company. Just focusing on how your desired conditions
match the company’s requirements (e.g., salary,
work hours, work location) is not enough to guarantee
you employment with that organization. Though one often
feels some anxiety while searching for a career, if
you establish a good plan and continue with your efforts,
you will find your ultimate career.
